  Arrived early as we had requested ... but we're told the room wasn't ready but not to worry as it would be ready in 5 .. (they wernt wrong 5 mins later it was ready.. bed had not been changed not hoovered anywhere bathroom was dirty. Bedding was not only filthy but didn't have anything fastening the quilt in which came out every time it was moved! Went out to find the so called boss man lay face down in the family bar literally face down flat! (Genuinely thought he was dead) before noticing the cider by his side and realising he was in fact just drunk.... (mid afternoon) having a 10 year old with us we avoided the situation. Came back to hotel at 8pm then woken at 4am by a couple of very drunk high on drugs couple of men trting to get into our room...finally found their own but proceeded to shout and scream outside the room for 2 hours solid banging doors like mad letting random people in and out... no door locked on main door! Had a child that was scared to use the bathroom due to the ceiling panals lifting up and down so either needs fixing or there's some dodgy spying system going on! ... no breakfast provided as apparently the kitchen was not fit the be used! Terrible waste of money ... back to out usual stay at Appleton house round the corner next time where we have no issues ever ... avoid at all costs if u have kids
